With Halloween about to land and the joinery business back in full flow, we take stock once again. It has been a busy October with two highlights to talk about in this month’s post.
We have a winner!
We are delighted to announce we have a winner for our ‘ Win A Joiner for A Day ‘ online competition.
We were amazed to receive hundreds of entries via our online competition, which ran for over 6 weeks and we randomly picked out of the hat, the winner. Please take a bow, Karen Phillips, who lives locally to us here in Canonmills, near the city centre of Edinburgh.
As a reminder, the prize on offer had two options.
- Receive a visit from one of our expert joiners to safely visit the winner’s home or workplace and work for 7 working hours on any joinery related issues.
- Take the £300 valued prize as a credit note towards their next joinery project.
We have now contacted Karen, who said she is pleased to have won and we are busy establishing what joinery work she wants us to do. We would also like to thank everyone for entering and we were pleased to see such an enthusiastic response.

B&M Joiners & Building Services Brand New Website
After months of planning, research, and head scratching, we are also excited to go live with our brand-new website. With our 50th year in business we felt it was time to update and refresh.
The original brand identity has been kept with a slight makeover of gold, to celebrate our half-century landmark. The site is now easier to navigate, identify all our skill sets and an abundance of new imagery has been added. Coming soon, we also have new Case Studies to demonstrate the quality of our bespoke joinery work.
